You will be required to carry out a range of activities to support the accurate management of Goods Receiving, Inventory Control and Despatches. You must be able to work in a small team, in a fast paced environment.

Clearmark is currently looking for a Warehouse and Stock Control Assistant to join their team.

About the role

The Role:

As a Warehouse and Stock Control Assistant you will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Checking goods received against supplier delivery notes, and notify the relevant people of any discrepancies
  • Receiving goods onto the SAP Business One system to ensure the online stock levels stay up to date
  • Locating and storing parts into correct stock location and make these easily identifiable
  • Keeping the area safe and tidy, including the way items are stored on shelves
  • Issuing parts to the Workshop as requested
  • Picking and packing outgoing goods securely and efficiently
  • Creating courier labels and shipping manifests
  • Ensuring nothing leaves the building without the correct paperwork
  • Carrying out regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Safely and efficiently loading and unloading vehicles, with the use of a Fork Lift Truck
  • Carrying out branding / packaging tasks on stock
  • The occasional collections from a local supplier, using the company van
The Candidate:

To be successful in your application for this Warehouse and Stock Control Assistant role you will need:

  • To be reliable and have a good attitude towards work
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • To hold a valid Fork Lift Truck Licence
  • To hold a valid UK Driving Licence
