Oulton Park Update
14th May, 2013
A quick update after the recent Oulton Park British Super Bike Meeting.
ICE MV Agusta rider Harry Stafford suffered a high speed accident during practice that left him hospitalised with head injuries. After a difficult week for all concerned, Harry is now on the way to recovery and can’t wait to be discharged from hospital. The Stafford family have been overwhelmed by the messages of support during this worrying period; our thoughts are with Harry & his family.
James Mutton also crashed his MV Agusta F3 during practice breaking part of the frame. Although many frantic hours where spent repairing & rebuilding the bike it was not finished in time for qualification, subsequently he had to sit the race out.
Tristan Palmer has left the team having obtained a prestige ride in the Superbike class – GbMoto Hond. Tristan had two good race results on the Honda and the rest of the team wish him well for the future. The bike vacated by Tristan is soon to be tested by experienced superbike racer Gary Mason with a view to riding it in future rounds.
Our next round is supporting the World Super Bikes at Donnington Park 24th-26th May.
