Charity Halloween Bake Sale and Pumpkin Carving
1st November, 2017
The Clearmark (ICE) team recently got into the spirit of Halloween by holding a charity bake sale and pumpkin carving competition in order to raise money for the company’s chosen charity, Rainbows Hospice.
In total, the team was able to raise over £70 through the money which was collected from charity cake donations and the entry fee for pumpkin carving.
After much deliberation and voting from the rest of the team, Connie from the ICE Aftercare team was crowned the victor among the five entrants with her impressive Game of Thrones inspired pumpkin.
This charity event follows a summer of fundraising at ICE, including £500 raised at the ICE Warehouse and Workshop launch and an additional £860 raised by members of the team taking part in a fitness event on behalf of the local children’s charity.
From today, 14 members of the team will also be taking part in the Movember challenge at ICE, all donations big or small are welcome and can be made through the company’s JustGiving page.

Making the Workplace Brighter with Rainbows
As the team has grown and developed over the years, one thing remains the same, a strong passion and commitment to fundraising in the workplace. We proudly sponsor the Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. Why? The list is endless – fundraising helps others, feels fantastic, is challenging, inspiring, takes people out of their comfort zone, helps to grow a supportive and inclusive work culture and benefits everyone from the children and young adults with life-limiting illnesses receiving palliative care, to the mums, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends and extended support network the children and young people count on throughout their journey.
